Veronica Beaverhausen Posted May 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Hello. Does anyone know who has stayed in a suite if the Butler will press our clothes and is there an additional charge per item? Thanks :)
Bobbye Posted May 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2010 The butler will take your clothes to the laundry to be pressed. And yes, there is a charge per item.

NW Pacific Posted May 20, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2010 I requested an iron and ironing board and received one pretty darn fast, used it, then called to have them picked up. Worked great.
Don Haynes Posted May 20, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Am I aloud to bring on board my own travel steamer that I add water to and Plug in to get the wrinkles out of my clothes? A travel steamer yes, but an iron shouldn't be carried aboard. If you ask your stewards to bring an iron and ironing board they will. The Fire Prevention Act of 1974 more or less prevents using irons without ironing boards in the hotel/motel industry, cruise lines being apart of the hospitality industry. At that time many nations worldwide passed such legislation, including the US. While many of us may pack an iron aboard, not many of us pack or bring an ironing board too... And that is the problem... the lack of an ironing board... Safety first!

endymion6942 Posted May 27, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2010 When we were in a A3 suite, the butlerr handled getting the laundry done. On the Jewel, the suite customers laundry gets fast tracked and is usually back the same day.
