So does anyone believe that it really was a mistake or did Carnival roll over to the wishes of the passangers and change the policy once again?

 

I think it was a clever marketing move. :rolleyes:

 

Lots of relieved people quickly moving to buy, who knows when thet'll change their minds again?

Uhhhh...I guess I missed it. What change to what policy?

 

All I know is we have ordered 4 bottles of liquor and beer this week from BV.

Ya' know... it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other and I don't think it helps a ton to speculate.

All is back to square one regardless of what caused the shift to begin with.

One thing I can say is that issues like this gives Carnival a darn good idea just how passionate cruisers are... and how set in their ways...

I just can't buy into this being some sort of marketing ploy. From what I have seen out of Carnival over the years, you are giving them WAYYYY too much credit.

 

Besides, they may have seriously lost some customers the way some were reacting yesterday.

 

This was a bone headed decision that lasted all of 24 hours.

I was surprised CCL wrote back in such short order! I sent my "letter of disgust" yesterday, and they actually got right back to me today!

OK, That's enough. On to better issues, eh?:rolleyes:
