Aurora evening buffet?

From reading reviews I understand a themed dinner is served each evening in the Orangery. I can find no mention of this on the P&O website or paper documentation. Am I correct in assuming this is buffet style? I have read that reservations are required, is this correct and if so how long in advance do you need to book?

There is a themed buffet each evening but the only one that needs to be booked in advance, via your table waiter in the MDR, is the Indian themed one. It is just so popular, but has no extra charge.

Thanks for that.

I wonder why details of the evening buffet are not shown on the P&O website under dining alternatives or FAQs. We will probably not sail on Costa or MSC again as they have no evening buffet on their Mediterannean cruises.

Some of the other themed buffet evenings are: Oriental (very good), British carvery (not so good), and Mediterannean (not tried it).

All personal preferences of course.

Although you have to 'get' your own food, tables are laid with cutlery and napkins.
