Is viking river Cruises Gay Friendly

Hubby and I are booked for a Danube River cruise with Viking. Does anyone have any experience with whether Viking is Gay friendly or do we need to be on our "straight friends" behavior?

My partner and I (along with my parents) were on Viking's "China's Cultural Delights" in 2007 and had no problem. The staff was very courteous (tour escort referred to us as "the boys") as were fellow passengers, as you would expect. Made many friends of them too, as we were all together for about 3 weeks.

Most people figured out we were a couple although a few thought we were childhood friends. Of course, we're not obviously affectionate in public.

On a side note, we were among the younger ones there (47 and 49 at the time).

thanks for your input. As we are a May December couple, I am used to being one of the youngest on board.

 

On our trip to Alaska with Tauck, we traveled with another May December gay couple and two of us WERE the youngest passengers on board at 40ish....
