Water in pools

I know this might be a strange question but I am curious.

 

do all pools on all ships have salt water? I was on a cruise about 16 years ago and 'thought' it was fresh water on RCL.

 

I took a cruise on NCL 3 years ago and was surprised it was salt water. I am taking another in August on the Dawn and was just curious

It was filtered salt water on Majesty, Spirit and Pearl. Though it was fresh water in RCL Freedom OTS when I was on her last year. Guess it all

depends on who you travel on.:)

The Dawn is salt water as well.

Princess has fresh water - can't remember what Holland America had. I think I read all NCL ships are salt water.
