serene56 Posted May 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Has anyone stayed in that cabin before? Thanks! Michelle no,it stays empty each week since its haunted. (sorry, couldnt resist) what would you like to know. its on the Port side of the ship Its located over the Paris Hots (?) stage area. Did you get this cabin by way of a guarantee or did the agent give this to you? Are you asking about Carnival Freedom or Royal Caribbeans Freedom of the seas? (your ticker says freedom of the seas-- that is why I am asking)
Talli Posted May 25, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Haunted! Lol! Hmm, I guess I need to figure out how to change my ticker. I am sailing on Carnival Freedom. We are first time cruisers and the DH picked the room since he wanted to be by others sailing in our party that had already booked before us. But now I am worried that it will be noisy since it is over the lounge area and the stage. Saw on another site that room 6418 had noise complaint and am worried that we might run into the same problem :( Some nights we will be up late so then it won't be an issue either way but there probably will be some early nights as well since we want to be up early on our port days. Any info you have would be appreciated!
tnincy Posted May 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2010 i stayed in room 6406 on Freedom last Sept. Our room and the rooms on each side of us were directly over the club. it was noisy all night long, needless to say we didn't get much sleep before 4:00am. hope you room is not over this area. i left a lengthy review of my room issues somewhere on this website. Crystalkrt Posted May 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2010 My sis stayed on 6461 and it was as loud as it could be. The piano bar was no joke every night. Try to pick a cabin between two cabin decks (above and below).
Crystalkrt Posted May 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Yeah, there was a little thread going on at some point where people suggested staying away from all the cabins begining with 64.. on the Freedom. My sis got assigned to that cabin (she wouldn't had picked it otherwise) but try to stay away unless you are a night owl.

Any info you have would be appreciated! If you can move up to the empress deck-- same area-- the best move you could do. Puts you between cabin space and away from the public areas. Empress deck aft puts you two decks up to the food/pools two decks down for entertainment-casino. Its really not important to be close to the friends/family you are sailing with-- for one-- you wont all fit in the cabins together and will be meeting out in the public areas anyways. We had 7411- Perfect location. WIll book it again on the Valor. PS-- fix your counter-- scroll to the top and click on USER CP. Edit signuture.
