Need advice on Caye Caulker trip

I see on these posts that the Caye Caulker Water Taxi company is not recommended. Any problems with the San Pedro one? Where to catch it? Anything we must see and do on this Caye? Any sure place there for good snorkeling?

Did anyone rent a golf cart and where did you find it on the caye? Price recently?

Wonderful snorkeling at Shark Alley - we booked thru Coral Breezes, stopped at two sites - one for snorkeling and one to play with the stingrays and then off to CayeCaulker for lunch and about 45-60 minutes of walk around time, which is plenty as there aren't too many shops there. However, we were there on a Sunday, so maybe more are open during the week. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....

I have lived on San Pedro for a year and a half. And we are booked for Sep 5th on the Valor.

The two water taxi companys merged last month. The prices went up and service went down.

As far as the sucurity of your bags. use commen sence. keep cameras and other valuables on you. bad thin gs might happen wherever in the world you might be.
