terryde Posted May 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2010 I see on these posts that the Caye Caulker Water Taxi company is not recommended. Any problems with the San Pedro one? Where to catch it? Anything we must see and do on this Caye? Any sure place there for good snorkeling? Did anyone rent a golf cart and where did you find it on the caye? Price recently? 2 cruzen Posted May 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Wonderful snorkeling at Shark Alley - we booked thru Coral Breezes, stopped at two sites - one for snorkeling and one to play with the stingrays and then off to CayeCaulker for lunch and about 45-60 minutes of walk around time, which is plenty as there aren't too many shops there. However, we were there on a Sunday, so maybe more are open during the week. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....
clackey Posted May 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2010 The San Pedro taxi also goes to Caulker. I think that it is called the express.

wadethegringo Posted May 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2010 I have lived on San Pedro for a year and a half. And we are booked for Sep 5th on the Valor. The two water taxi companys merged last month. The prices went up and service went down. As far as the sucurity of your bags. use commen sence. keep cameras and other valuables on you. bad thin gs might happen wherever in the world you might be. terryde Posted June 1, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted June 1, 2010 So if the two companies merged, from which dock do they go now to Caye Caulker?
wadethegringo Posted June 1, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Last week they were docking on the pier close to the police station, just north of Tinas Hostel
