Orgin on Board

Is orgin shown on board? as i just realized now that i am on the ship when the last game is played has anyone been on board and did they play it? like in the show room.

They will do their best to play it but it depends on satellite reception and what not.

We were on the Dawn last year for the last game...a Sydney leaving ship at the time, we were three of five QLDers up in the sports bar for a very eventful game. Was a sic atmosphere, two sides, a lot of jabs, but generally a heap of fun.

this year princess negotiated a deal for them to show it on the dawn princess during this world cruise.. cost them either $10,000 or $15,000 not sure which as both costs where quoted...

Sweet ..its suddenly occured to me that I will be on board for the second match .. I certainly hope they do show it and there will be more than one blues supporter!

leashyloo69 see thats what happend to me i watched the first one it said when the second game was and i am like i bet 1000 dollers that its on when i am on the cruise and it is i hope they really do show it.... you will have to tell me when you get back leashyloo69 if they show it

Having just returned from our cruise on Pacific Jewel, I can confirm they showed the State of Origin, although it wasn't guaranteed - I think there would have been a lot of unhappy passengers if they hadn't showed it!

I can confirm that the Dawn did show Origin 2 onboard,both in the Dome and the Casino

Right up until showtime it wasn't guaranteed. I heard Zoltina J saying to a passenger that she was fighting for viewing rights but that it was up to management...

Basicly where ever you happen to be on the night it is subject to satelite availablity and whether or not they can tap into it!

It did brighten up the evening after a day of pouring rain in Vila, didn't it Leashyloo? DH said they flashed the red lights for Qld tries and blue for NSW.

Let's say the night had a rosy glow! :)

I dont think it really matters now if we do not see it as nsw has already lost but it would still be good to watch it.

 

That would of been good for he lights i when the trys where scored...
