Has anyone stayed at the Casa Fuster in Barcelona. This is the hotel the Crystal Cruise line recommends. Any other suggestions?

We stayed in a jr suite at Casa Fuster on our last visit to Barcelona. It was a worthy splurge for us, and is our favourite hotel in the city.

 

We've also stayed at the Claris. While the Egyptian antiquities are nice, this is decidedly a notch below Casa Fuster; both are rated 5*GL.

 

You might also consider the Hotel 1898, or the Hotel Arts by the seashore.

We stayed at the Nouvel Hotel in October. It was in the Las Ramblas section of Barcelona. We loved the hotel - very charming. We were able to book a triple. We stayed pre and post cruise. When we returned to the hotel after the cruise (at 10 am), the desk clerk greeted us by name - and was able to immediately check us into our room.
