NYC boarding and parking questions

How is parking at the NYC pier and is it a far walk from the parking area to the terminal?

 

Also, what is the earliest time you are allowed in the terminal?

Parking is very close. Not sure what time the porter's start taking luggage. We have arrived at 10 and they were at that time. ;)

Parking was right at the pier we had friends who did it last week and porters were available to take luggage from the parking area. We got to the pier at 11:15 and got right on the ship.

Last year was $ 30 per day which i thought was outrageous.

 

Parked in NJ took a bus into the city and than a cab to the pier.

Very easy walk.

 

The cruise parking starts at 9am of departure day.

Thank you everyone. I will probably get there by 11 or 12 and avoid rush hour traffic. Then onto the ship for a nice relaxing weekend :)

Parking at the pier is literally on the pier, you park right beside the ship.

 

We arrived about noon and there was hardly anyone checking in.
