2112 Posted February 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2005 I have photos of cave tubing in Belize on my website. Take a look at http://www.pbase.com/2112 and look in the Central America gallery (NOT the Caribbean gallery).
scsagh Posted February 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Thanks for sharing your great pics 2112. Wondered, of the all of the ruins that you visited in Belize, which would you recommend most, and why? Thanks again for sharing!
2112 Posted February 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2005 I would recommend Xunantunich. It is very dramatic and the restoration is complete so there are no tarps covering it like there are at Altun Ha. You can even see into Guatamala from the top. Cahal Pech is also very interesting and it was completely empty when I visited it so it had a great feel to it. Of course, if you did a land trip then Tikal in Guatamala is the best by far, but you can't do it from a cruise ship due to distance and time limitations. aggieastrosfan Posted February 8, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2005 I've got some cave tubing pictures as well. They're in the Belize album from May '04 at the link below.
