WNT Posted June 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2010 I just realized that our cruise on the Caribbean Princess in July has us in Bermuda on a Sunday. We were planning on taking the ferry from West End to Hamilton for some site seeing and shopping, but I have heard that all of the shops are closed on Sunday. Is this true, or is there still enough to see and do to make the trip to Hamilton worthwhile?
EOS-User Posted June 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Yes; pretty well all shops are shut on a Sunday. There will be some open; but not enough for any 'serious' shopping... However; there's still plenty to see & do in Hamilton and Sunday is a great day to see it; there's not so many people out & about! In no order of priority; try & fit in... The Cathedral, Sessions House/Parliament, Fort Hamilton, Par-la-Ville Park, Front Street, City Hall, BUEI... that should fill your day & keep you quiet! Enjoy...
