foodwise - sea grape or royal palm

I've read all about both actual beaches and feel we'd be happy at either, just haven't read a whole lot about the food at either. We're leaning a little towards sea grape just cause I heard it is a little wider to spread out. The better food will steer us one way or another. Looking for good casual seafood or such, fried calamari, or fish sandwiches/tacos, whatever. Just looking for some opinions and advice on the better grub.

I have the same question as you. I see you've already sailed. Where did you end up eating?

We went to Sea Grape, and the restaurant was quite good, if pricey. We just had burgers and fries. As others have noted though, it is quite close to the road, and the chairs are very close together.

We have been to both and they both have the same food with the same prices. I liked Sea grapes a bit better because it was a little less crowded and the Bar area overlooking the water is great. My husband and I weren't all that hungry so we each got a Coronna and split a sandwich platter[ it was VERY large and fine to share]

I also have found more fish to see at Sea Grapes[ if you like to snorkel]
