jfv379 Posted June 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2010 From the linked picture of the Grand, is that Dolphin Deck mini's that are exposed? I think the deck below would be Emerald mini's to the rear of the life boats. Would I be correct in those two presumptions?

Eager2Travel Posted June 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2010 We just booked a mini suite on the Dolphin deck for a northern TA. Does anyone know if they have more wind on sea days than the partly covered ones? I know we will have mainly cold weather in October but am wondering if we will ever get to use the balcony. Hi Guys, We have done both covered and uncovered on warm water cruises. I didn't notice that much difference in wind. I'm sure the direction of the wind would have a lot to do with it. I'm not even sure which one I liked better. Probably the covered balcony. John

Eager2Travel Posted June 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2010 Thanks for the reply John. I guess it will be what it is as the main deck of mini suites is Dolphin deck. At least we wont have to worry about too much sun on an uncovered balcony going from London to Fort Lauderdale. Say hi to Barbara. Ann
