CruisingBull Posted June 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2010 I am looking at Norwegian Dawn. I was wondering if this ship has rooms with obstructed windows that are classified as "inside"? If so which ones? I know Carnival has these and was wondering specifically about Norwegian Dawn. Thanks.
johnql Posted June 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2010 No, all of NCL's inside cabins are just that - inside, with no view at all. The Dawn does have obstructed oceanview cabins on Deck 8.
UandMe4Ever Posted June 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Any cabin that has a window, obstructed or not, I believe is an outside cabin. Inside cabins have no window, porthole or otherwise. Just the walls and a mirror, so it looks a little larger. Hope this helps.
CruisingBull Posted June 12, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted June 12, 2010 Hi, Thanks for the replies. I find it a bit weird that NCL would charge full outside price for an obstructed view. I guess thats why other lines have changed their status to inside to be more fair. Thanks all.

The price is almost always lower than cabins with full views.

Thanks I will look into that.

Hi: As the previoius poster said, most cruise lines do charge LESS for an obstructed cabin, because it is obstructed. I believe just a little more $$ than an inside. You will have light and can see see a bit in between the "obstruction". Have a wonderful time whatever cabin you decide upon.
