Volcanic ash:Cunard

i am looking foward to getting back on the QM2 for a roundtrip TA, on

July 6,2010. I was making a TA westbound on April 23,2010,but due to the Volcanic ash, American Air canceled my flight on April 20, to LHR..hence I missed the boat. Looking foward to the lost time and clear sailing .

Just wondering if any one else was in the same "boat" situation?

We were in a similar situation. We were booked on the Queen Victoria's cruise that departed on April 22. We were planning to fly to London on April 19 and spend two nights there before the cruise. American Airlines cancelled our flight and we were forced to cancel the entire trip. Luckily, we had third party travel insurance and received a refund.

 

We are booked again on the Queen Victoria on a similar cruise that departs in May 2011.

Hi Chuck, yes very similar situation. I used my Air Miles and got the insurance refund. I'm impressed with all the cruises you have been on.

I want to sail on the Queen Elizabeth .
