Beach Near Port??

I think I read somewhere that there is a beach located near the boardwalk area which is near the port... can someone confirm that for me!? Is this similar to Grand Turk where you walk off the ship and there are shops and beach right there at the "Cruise Center?"

The beach/boardwalk is not right at the cruise ship dock. It's across the harbor - a 20 minute walk or a $6/rt water taxi ride. I did this in Feb. and was very happy with it. I walked down the boardwalk to the left to get away from the "setups" on the beach. I really didn't want to rent a chair and umbrella, but if that is what you are looking for, they're plenty of places to do that.
