Just off the Ruby and had a great cruise. Was curious as to what the switch in the middle of this picture does (two position, LED changes color when switched.)

A year and a half ago in our Ruby mini-suite, that switch reset ALL our on board charges to zero each time we used it :D !!! Don't tell me they've deactivated that feature since then :(...

I remember a couple of years ago there was a big discussion here about that switch. But I don't think anyone ever came up with a concrete answer as to what it was for. Maybe someone else has figured it out since, but that thread went on and on with speculation as to what it was actually for. :confused:

I think (it's been a while) when I asked aboard another ship I was told it had to do with fire alarms.

 

However, no explanation was given as to what position the switch should be in.
