Navigator at Super bowl

It is actually open to the public for use of the facilities, restaurants, etc.

Only wish we were in town this weekend. It would have been fun to stop by and enjoy lunch on the ship. Don't really know how that would work, but fun to try.

They brought it in just for the Super Bowl.

We are going on the Silver Whisper in Mid May and we disembark in Villefranche the day that the Monaco Gran Prix starts. After we disembark the ship is moving over to Monte Carlo where it will be a floating hotel for 3 days during the races.

The Russian Government also used the Silver Whisper a couple of years ago for all the dignitaries during the St. Petersburg Anniversary Celebration. Putin, Chirac, Schroeder, and Bush were all onboard. I thought that it must have been one really interesting conversation, but Captain Casaro told me that they were on at different times and not all together.

This stay in Jacksonville seems to have been scheduled some time ago. In the "Tropics" brochure, there is no cruise listed for the Navigator for this week. I hope that the stay in Jacksonville doesn't delay her return to service, however. We're booked on her in March.

Hi Marylis, We'll be on the March 18 cruise. We chose it because of the Yucatecan itinerary. On this cruise there is an excursion to Tikal (which we have long wanted to see) from Belize City. 22 years ago we took another cruise that had an excursion to Tikal, which we booked. Unfortunately we never got further than a Guatemalan airforce base where we waited for a charter plane that never arrived. Apparently it crashed on the way to pick us up! We hope to have better luck next month.

Hi, JDRMYS, sorry we're going to miss you but hope you have a wonderful time and we'll cross our fingers for fair sailing on your long awaited excursion:)

Naples 007 - Your cruise is so close! Too bad none of us are going to be on the Navigator at the same time in March!
