jdaa Posted June 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Our daughter's birthday is the day we board ship. I would like to request her favorite dessert be served to our table that night. I am thinking that perhaps I should make the request before we get on board. What is the best way to do so? Should I send a fax to the ship? Martita B. Posted June 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Did you make note of the birthday in your pre-documents? Also, contact your Travel Agent ~~then upon boarding visit with the Maitre'D and remind him of the special desert/cake. Martita B
Susan07470 Posted June 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Talk to the maitre d'. As long as you give them advance notice, your wish is their command. They are most accomodating.
FKGirl Posted June 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2010 As we were boarding the ship the Asst Maitre D' was there asking if there were any food allergies. he also had a list of birthdays and anniversaries. Just double check with him (although I am confident they have it if you mentioned it already)
wripro Posted June 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Twenty-fours hours is usually plenty of notice. Just talk to the maitre d' or one of the assistant maitres d' the night before. To be sure I would also confirm the request the next day since it's a special occasion.

JaneBP Posted June 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 17, 2010 Before saiiing, I would make the special dessert request through the Guest Services Desk. They are wonderful.
