Sept. 19 Disembark Statendam, Embark Rotterdam - any tips?

Recommended Posts

My email from Vancouver port authority states the Rotterdam well be birthed at Ballantyne pier on the 19th. The pier is only a 15 Min walk but if i were in your position i would get a cab.

Take a cab to Ballantyne, don't walk. It is not far but is through some unsavoury areas. We did the walk on a Sunday morning and our kids, who lived in Vancouver at the time, were aghast that we had walked from Canada Place to Ballantyne.

I so appreciate everyone's information. We will definitely take a cab, and I hope 3 hours will be enough time for the disembark, immigration, waiting for the cab, etc. Ryndam and X Mercury are also disembarking at Canada Place on the 19th, with NCL Pearl and Rotterdam at Ballantyne, with some competition for cabs.
