Hotel Olimpia Venice Reasurants closeby?

We are staying 1 night at the Olimpia pre cruise in July and wondered if anyone can recommend reasonably price restaurants within a short walk of this hotel. We don't want a full course meal just somewhere that we can get a reasonably prices meal.

There are lots including some next to the hotel. We ate at 2 of them , both were OK but we thought fairly expensive for what we had but it is Venice. Others may be able to help with specific reccs.

Thanks for that. We know that Venice is really expensive but sometimes someone comes up with a really good restaurant at a reasonable price. Having lived close to London for all our lives we know how expensive cities can be!!!

 

Hopefully someone has found a 'gem' for us.

We didn't eat at the ones right next to the Olimpia, but we did find some that were good and not too expensive near the universities. We had gotten a tip from friends who were shocked to see their final bill had added many euros for "seating" and "service". They told us to look for "tourist menu" or Prix fix menu and we did. Still dinner with wine was equal to $70 US. for the two of us.

Thanks for those suggestions. Just want somewhere that we can have a decent meal after our flight. Will have a look at these.
