Saint John- Where to drive if the tides are high?

Recommended Posts

Last time in Saint John we did a city bus tour and saw the sights in Saint John. I was thinking about renting a car or taking a tour outside of the city of Saint John but it looks like the tides will be low at 4:40am and 5:03pm. We will be there from 7-3 (less with getting on and off).

Can anyone suggest where to go given this information? And can I assume the tides will be relativly the same in Saint John, Saint Martin, and Saint Andrew? We will be there on Sept 20, 2010.

Thank You

Saint Andrews will be nice in the Fall and not very dependent at all on the tides.

At Saint Martins you would not be able to walk into the 'Sea Caves' at high tide, but the covered bridges are quaint, the wharf is picturesque when the boats are in at high tide, and the Fundy Trail Parkway is beautiful and just 5 miles past Saint Martins and would be just as spectacular at high or low tide.
