Whitewater Rafting on Nenana in Denali

Our Celebrity Cruisetour has a 6pm White Water rafting option while staying at Denali on the Nenana River. Only the guide has oars, the passengers just sit. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS? My 2 previous experiences with white water rafting in Canada were disappointing. Am only considering this because my teenage girls have never done it. Also, not sure how you eat dinner with a 6pm trip and will we be too tired by that time. Your comments are appreciated.
