BAJDfromNJ Posted June 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2010 First time on HAL. When we booked our upcoming cruise to Bermuda, we were booked as BC Guaranteed. Just received our Cabin assignment and we are now in a category B cabin. Is this much different? Cant really tell from what I can see on the Veendam virtual tours. Thanks for any info. In any event, Cant wait for this cruise.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2010 It's all about location!! The cabins are all the same size -- same set-up -- same size balcony. Congratulations on the upgrade.
ookpik Posted June 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Cat B is more midship,BC is either further forward or further back. These Cat B rooms are very nice. Enjoy:D
Sailkeywest Posted June 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Peruse Joanie's thread (stickied at top of page for Holland Forums) to see if you can find some pictures. Are you sailing on the Veendam? I found some real photos of a B cabin shown here (have to scroll down the page): http://joanjett2000.topcities.com/HAL/Veendam/index.html Looks lovely, enjoy :)
