Pacific Dawn late again

I wonder what is wrong with the Pacific Dawn, She is very late leaving today and not departing till 9pm.

According to someone on board it’s an Engineering problem.

The PD had a breakdown on Thursday when the engines stopped for a while in the Whitsunday passage.

There was no propulsion and only emergency power with plenty of white smoke billowing out of the Funnel.

The Pacific Dawn got underway at 9.30pm. Reports coming in that a computer chip in the engine controls was the problem. They also had to wait on a new channel clearance due to a lot of ship traffic tonight.
