CRUISE FOR ME Posted February 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2005 We were on the Tahitian Princess in 2003 and they had an omlete station outside the Horizon Court. We enjoyed the breakfast treat of cook to order omlets. We were on the Diamond in April and they didn't have the omlete station. We're going on the Sapphire next week and wonder if they have it? Anyone been on the Sapphire? Also, is PC dinning crowded at 6pm? Thanks! Dana
kimba_99 Posted February 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2005 I don't remember seeing an omelet station outside the Horizon court buffet and we had breakfast most mornings there. If you want an omelet cooked differently to what is on offer just ask at the centre grill section (the guy behind the counter checking to make sure there is plenty of food on offer) and if you ask nicely he will have something special cooked for you. My partner likes tomato juice and this is not put out with the other juices but when he asked they had some ready in a fridge under the cabinets. It pays to ask! We also had breakfast in our cabin a few morning, just write on the breakfast menu card what you want and if it's not over the top too much then you should get it. We asked for toasted bagels and poached eggs, don't ring and ask because they will say no, just write it on the card. We had PC dining also and never made reservations and never waited to get into any of the dining rooms and we went at all different times of the evening. Enjoy your cruise. scampi Posted February 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2005 We were on the Sapphire Princess Jan. 6-18th. We ate breakfast in our cabin almost every day. On the front of our "continental breakfast card" we wrote down items such as Omelette with cheese & mushrooms or cheese, mushrooms & peppers, etc. Also added items like cup of berries, cup of oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Received everything we ordered at the time we indicated (Instead of checking for example (8:30-9:00 a.m.) we'd write 9:00 a.m. It was nice being able to eat leisurely out on the balcony sometimes if the weather warranted it. estebofarr Posted February 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2005 Just got back and no, there is no omelet station. That would have been nice. We usually had dinner at 6pm. We made reservations every night for the next night and it was a breeze. This way, we could have a table for four and didn't have to share. They would Only allow reservations up to 4 days in advance. They will not allow reservations between 6:30 and 8.
