dmdiver Posted June 29, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Last year on Conquest we had liquid soap & shampoo in the shower, bar soap at the sink, razors, pepcid, metamucil. That's all I can recall. No conditioner or body lotion. Had robes in the room as well.
simplelife Posted June 29, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Just came off the Glory. There was generic liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower, a small bar or soap at the sink. There was a basket with a few items in it - in our case there were single-use packets of conditioner and toothpaste, and a man's and a lady's razor, There is no guarantee what will be in the baskets, so i suggest bringing your own toiletries. Texaslandshark Posted June 30, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2010 They have toilet paper. I'd skip bringing bar soap. Like at home, it just gunks up a shower vs. body wash. Honest.
SATXLady Posted June 30, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2010 If you have specific requirements on what toiletries you will/won't use, bring your own. Even if someone here tells you the brand that was used when they were on the ship, no guarantee that is what will be there when you go. Carnival furnishes liquid soad and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. More economical and environmentally friendly. They also include a basket of samples which may vary and you should not rely on any specific item to be in it. I always take my own travel size toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, other hair products, etc.) when I travel. I don't buy new travel size products but re-use the bottles and re-fill as soon as I get home so they will be ready to go next time.
