LibraLass41 Posted July 4, 2010 #28 Share Posted July 4, 2010 £5.95??????? Are you only about 20? Seems very cheap for a weeks cruise cover. I'm off to check it out !
LibraLass41 Posted July 4, 2010 #29 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Checked it out - £6.50 for me, BUT there was no cancellation cover, £8.80 with £3,000 cancellation cover....looks pretty good... All prices look good but its if they pay out or wriggle out thats the bottom line...?
Beckyfaye-2008 Posted July 4, 2010 #30 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Have just been reading on another forum, re the cost of medical treatment on board a cruise ship. It would appear it can cost approx $145 just for an appointment, and for one person the cost of a nights treatment was approx $1,000. Expensive if you have not got insurance cover.
jeanlyon Posted July 4, 2010 #31 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Yes I'm sure Directline wouldn't cover us with even slight medical conditions. Can't believe you can get cover for that low. hmmmm
jeanlyon Posted July 4, 2010 #32 Share Posted July 4, 2010 As i thought, nobody to be covered has any medical condition, or is taking any medication at all. Very lucky 80 year old that isn't on anything at all.
capasamari Posted July 5, 2010 #33 Share Posted July 5, 2010 The £5.95 insurance was for lynbee not for her 80-year old mother. Carol x
jeanlyon Posted July 5, 2010 #34 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Yep, thanks Carol, didn't read it properly. Still can't believe the price though.
