Take the tour or walk

Cristallo

Recommended Posts

My DH and I are going to Nassau at the end of November and we were both interested in sightseeing more then going to the beach. We've been milling over two options 1) Taking the Taste of Nassau Tour with Island Marketing Ltd or 2) Doing the Frommers walking tour. My concern is that I have light sensitivity which means I'm more susceptible to heat and sunlight.

So my question is with the walking tour is the area your walking spread out over miles? Or pretty close together? And has anyone done the Taste of Nassau or any tours with Island Marketing Ltd?

Thanks.

November is a good time for the walking tour - unlike right now. :)

It's nice to have a guide to tell you all about the things you're seeing. You could look at the Frommer's walking tour map and let your guide know if there's something in particular you want to see or do.

Depending on how long you spend at each place, the walking tour could take between an hour and 2 hours. I did it with my mom but we didn't do the whole thing. We just hit the spots we were most interested in seeing. Most things are pretty close together.
