Kayack Tour in Hilo

Has anyone done this - and if so - can you bring a small beach bag with and keep it in your Kayack? I've never done this - so not sure how much room there is.

I did this excursion last year. You have room at your feet, but the bag will get wet. They let you store stuff in their van, which they lock up. Make sure to wear water/beach shoes. You have to climb over some slippery rocks to see the waterfall. If you bring a camera, just carry it around your neck by the strap or use a lanyard.
