Historic Anchorage Hotel??

Has anyone stayed at the Historic Anchorage Hotel? We are booked for our pre-night stay before our cruise. We won't have a rental car, so I found this hotel that is close/walking distance to the train station for our next day train trip to Seward. Is this a decent/clean/comfortable hotel? Thanks!! :)

I stay there pretty much every year for at least a couple of days, and love it. You may need to be a fan of historic hotels, though - it's beautifully restored, but doesn't have some of the amenities of modern places (since I don't care about such things, I can't even tell you what those amenities might be, but have overheard other guests making comments along those lines).
