Please be advised that if your ship is in Cadiz on a Sunday, there is little public transportation and all shops in Cadiz will be closed. Taking the train to Seville is out of Sunday.

Very good point, return from Seville by train on Sunday might be a little tight, I would not risk it.

In April 2009 we took a bus from Cadiz to Seville, and we took the train back to Cadiz. We decided to try both modes and see which we thought was better. We much preferred the bus. The bus depot was across the street from the dock. When you purchase your ticket it also assigns your seat. The bus was new and very clean. It made a few stops in town and from there headed to Seville. We weren't as happy with the train. It was not very clean, seemed rather old, and wasn't a very smooth ride. The train station wasn't as near to the dock as the bus station, so we had to take a taxi back to the ship.

Does anyone know how far Seville is from Cadiz, it looks about 75 miles on the map, is that about right? How long of a bus ride is it? We are only there for 8 hrs. I'm thinking maybe just stay in Cadiz, although I would hate to be so closes to Seville & not be able to see it!
