They do have beach towels (blue and white striped on my May cruise) that you can take off the ship; you will be charged ($20 I think) if they are not returned. There were a couple in our stateroom when we arrived.

I'd describe them as typical beach towel size. Might not work for my 6'6" son, but they worked for me (I'm 5'9"). Honestly, though, I did not pay real close attention to the dimensions, so hopefully someone will chime in here.
