Waigaoqiao or Gaoyang road shanghai??

hi, we will be on the diamond princess in april and our guide asked which port we might be docked at? anyone have an idea? thanks

We were on the Diamond this past April. The Diamond docked at Shanghai's new dock, Wusongkou International Cruise Port. There were lots of festivities... the Diamond was the first ship to dock there. It wasn't quite finished but I'm sure by next April, it will be completed.

 

Sadly, Wusongkou isn't any closer to Shanghai city center than was Waigaogiao Port. And, by next April, the Diamond might dock again at Waigaogiao. We had no idea the Diamond was going to dock at Wusongkou but our private guide had no problem finding out where we docked and was there waiting for us.
