Tallships in Tampa this weekend

If anyone is sailing from (or back into) Tampa this weekend, you might be interested in this. There will be a few tallships (old, sail powered vessels) in town for a small festival this weekend. They will be sailing into the river/channel Saturday morning at about 11 am; two will be docked at the convention center, one at the Starship yacht's pier adjacent to the Channelside complex. Tours of the ships are available over the weekend & first day or 2 of next week. The three main attraction ships are:

Eagle (US Coast Guard); Capitan Miranda (Uruguay), and Glorida (Columbian navy)

Think I might take my boys out there one day this weekend; they love the old ships. Of course, they think they are pirate ships. :D

I believe there will also be some related activities going on at the Channelside complex & maybe at the convention center.
