Max. number of people accommodated in cabin?

How do you know how many people can share a particular cabin or suite? I think I read that no more than three can stay in a Celebrity Suite. Are there any exceptions? What are the rules by ship and category?

Hi CajunLiner, My experience has been the Celebrity suites are only set up to sleep three. For example, two twin beds that can be made into a queen and one pull out sofa, which is usually the size of a twin bed. I think they will make some exceptions if you are traveling with children but I think you'd have more comfort in a cabin that have the two upper berths (spelling).

The family cabins are set up for more people. On Mercury they hold five.
