Sail Girl Posted July 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Just got off the phone with NCL. Saved almost $900.00 total on two cabins. This is due to a lower rate for Latitude members. This was on Cat G, 11/20/10 on the Gem. Might be available on other cruises/categories. No harm in checking. Good luck! I'd love to know if others have good luck with this!! :):):):)
peg013 Posted July 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Did you have a Latitudes discount originally or just get it now? I just checked. Since I booked in Feb the rate has gone down a total of $86 for both of us. Did you keep any OBC you may have had after the price adjustment. We have $300 OBC I do not want to give up for $86. Viesczy Posted July 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2010 We were booked on the Jewel's fall '09 repo, when we booked the price was like $1300 pp w $150 obc per person, well the price dropped to $1050 w $100 OBC, we saved $250 pp in cabin cost for $50 pp for OBC. I'd check to see the deals now though... Derek

So two OV cabins with $900 savings = $225 pp based on 4 ppl. The current going rate for a "G" cabin is $549 pp plus taxes. So I think someone is pulling your leg! Even internet site is $549 plus tax and you get an obc 0f $50 per cabin.
