zebra Posted July 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Has anyone eaten at Angry Aggie's in Holetown? Was it worthwhile? Also how far is it from the pier and what would you suggest is the best way to get there? Thanks.

It is perhaps 15-20 minutes north of Deep Water Harbour and you can access it via taxi or bus. I cannot tell you that the ribs are great, you'll have to discover that on your own. ;)
zebra Posted July 19, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Sorry yes of course I meant Angry Annie's - bad me! Would you suggest a better restaurant, especially for seafood??
barbados Posted July 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2010 They don't allow us to recommend restaurants...however... Here is a short-list of world-Class seafood restaurants on the island: Pisces The Cliff Josef's The Crane (L'Azure) You'll have to Google these. Some are only open for dinner, but some have a lunch offering, also. I am unable to advise our favorite restaurant, but you'll enjoy any that you choose on the list. They are simply outstanding. My best wishes for a wonderful visit! :)
zebra Posted July 20, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks so much for being so helpful. Could you narrow these down to lunch restaurants for me????
zebra Posted July 20, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted July 20, 2010 I checked out all of these websites - and most are dinner only and others menu's are pretty much what is offered on board ship. I would really like either something typically Barbados (maybe close to the dock) or a restaurant with authentic British food - any of these available??? Thanks. barbados Posted July 20, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 20, 2010 I have to apologise, we always go out to dinner. Lunch is generally Chefette. I think the only spot that is open for lunch is the L'azure at the Crane. I am told this makes a wonderful day. A day you won't soon forget. A less expensive fare would be on the east coast at The Atlantis. Mr. Alpac has some stunning pictures of this spot if you search this forum. The Crane or the Atlantis involves 45 minutes to an hour of travel, but you will not regret it. (or your money back! ;) ) As an alternative, a close, yet reportable good restaurant, would be The Waterfront Cafe. Less expensive, closer and most find it more than satisfactory. I think you'd find it quite fitting. And there's always Sandy Lane. Great lunch. Great service. Great ambiance. Great $$$$. Please come back for a week (or two) and try them all. We'd love to have you as our guest. :) :) :)
