Himself Posted July 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks for the report. I hope it is not as hot in NC as it has been. All the best to you.
trvlcrzy Posted July 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2010 The weather here is scorching hot. We are expecting the mercury to reach 100+ degrees Fahrenheit for the next couple of days. The humidity at 6:30 this morning was at 91% (DH has a weather station). Miserable. That allegedly makes the heat index at about 108 in the heat of the afternoon. The good news is this will bring thunderstorms... and RAIN. We are in moderate drought right now, so we could use some drops from heaven! I'm sure Illinois is warm, too. It seems that the whole nation is in oven stage... what about Alaska? Are they still in the 50s & 60s DH and I enjoyed in June?
Himself Posted July 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2010 I found Alaska to be a bit chilly until I got to Ketchikan. That was sunny and warm which is unusual because it usually rains in Ketchikan.
