How far is the walk from the ship to Mahoghany Bay? I remember someone said it is a hill to climb back to the ship, is it? Would you say its a difficult walk? My sister has some mobility issues, and is not up for long climbs. Also, is the chair like a ski lift chair, does it keep moving and you must get off quickly and get out of the way, or does it stop for you to get off? Thanks!

We were just there this past April. My brother also has mobility issues (used a wheelchair). When you get off the ship, you will pass through a huge duty-free shop, then there is an incline up to the shopping area (about 1 block long total) then an even terrain to the chair lifts. They WILL stop the lift for you to get on if need be and will have the wheelchair follow you in the lift behind you and STOP the lift for you to get off. The only SLIGHT problem we had was getting off the lift. Pretty much an all sandy area although there is a sidewalk that goes from one end of the beach to the other (you just have to get to it).
