After many cruises on Crystal (among many others), this will be our first cruise with SS. We had to cancel a Crystal cruise earlier in November due to scheduling conflicts and wanted to try something new. Plus it's my Better Half's B-Day. I have been "lurking" on this board for a few months now and have learned quite a bit. We have been to every port but one and we're looking forward to the SS experience.

thought i might bring this up again; can't wait to check the new tub out;the reviews have been kind of a mixed bag; any one else on this sojourn ?

Having traveled Silversea myself, I encouraged my mother to try Silversea on the Nov 22 sailing. She has done 14 Crystal Cruises, and was very reluctant to mess with success. However, none of the Crystal sailings matched her dates and port interest. So.... she is going to go! I think she will enjoy it. Do any of you know if Silversea has an "introduce a friend" program, similar to Crystal's program?

Yes they do! Ask your TA. You will receive credit for all the nights that the referred guest books, so you will get bonus nights toward that all import Free Laundry at 100 nights!:D

DH and I are on this cruise. Truly looking forward to experiening the New Ship. Now there must be more people going on this cruise with us. Anyone, anyone at all???
