Room Service Ventura

Booked on a caribbean cruise next february on ventura. We have a basic balcony cabin and wondered if room service is complimentry. We sailed on Independance and all room service was free and came in very handy for us lazy ones.

Room service is free and we enjoyed it a couple if times. Fruit was nice and fresh as were the lovely pastries - just don't have the toast - it was a little chewy by the time it got to us - god knows what time it was toasted. A very civilised wake up call if you ask me!!

Only continental type breakfasts are available from room service on P&O if I remember correctly. I think there is a charge for some other items that are available during the day, unlike RCI where everything is free.

Most things are free from Room Service. The only things that incur a small extra charge are things like Smoked Salmon. We often had a baguette when we returned late from a morning excursion. It was good to eat it sat on the balcony.

We had breakfast in our cabin quite a few times. The only problem we had was that the coffee wasn't as hot as it should have been. It would have been better served in thermos coffee butlers to keep it warm. Apart from that it was great!!
