Info needed on Dolphin Trainer for a Day and Dolphin Swim

We will be going to the Mexican Riveria later this year and I'm trying to decide whether to do the dolphin trainer for a day or the dolphin swim in Puerto Vallerta. Is it worth the extra $100 to be a trainer? Do you get to do the same things as you would with the dolphin swim? Any information on both these excursions would be helpful.
