Livorno beach/swim tours???

I am looking over Cruise ship sponcered tours for Livorno and ran across Pisa/Swim is there any private tours or a city transit system that may be an options for us? We are planning many days with very active and long touring times. Would like a chance to take my son to see the Leaning Tower and then a low key day at the beach or all inclusive swim location.
