Cruise Magazine

I know the title is dumb, but my wife and I are cruise fanatics. However we are taking time off due to fact we recently had a baby boy. July 17 to be exact. So while we are not planning, or booking yet =(, we want to get a cruise magazine. We heard of PORTHOLE, however is there any other cruise magazine out there. PORTHOLE to us seems to be more advertisement then any port info, cruise line info. Any info on this would be great.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to get Cruise Travel - liked it a lot

 

(BTW - July 17 is a good day for baby birthdays - my youngest just turned 21 on the 17th! Congratulations!!)

Cruise Travel magazine for me too!! I have been getting this for about 15 years. They have a port of the month, ship of the month, cruise of the month, & new ship reviews in each of the issues which are every other month. Every January they have the "state of cruising issue".

I like Cruise Travel so much more. Porthole is 75% ads! IMO

World Ocean and Cruise News, a publication of the World Ocean and Cruise Liner Society, is a good monthly cruise magazine. Few photos, but the articles are well written by expert cruisers.

We like Cruise Travel as well. However, I wish it were monthly. I'm thinking it's only every other month. :(

Great question! I"m going to subscribe to that magazine asap! Congrats on the baby. Two of my favorite men were born on July 17....my DH.....and my Carnival PVP !! Not necessarily in that order! Ha Ha!
