I was thinking that might be fun ----

Can you say - is it ocean or river?

and are there a lot of "critters" in the water too? Open donuts? or closed donuts?

Rec an outside company, as opposed to Carnival's tour?

Your kids will love you forever, if you take them cave-tubing! It's a river, no critters (well, if there are, you won't see them, it's dark in the caves). Open donut floats. Much better to take an independent excursion, less crowded. There are several reputable companies that are discussed/reviewed on these boards. Pick one of them, and you will be fine. We used X-Stream Cave Tubing, and had a blast.

We went with Wet & Wild but I think that they are Belizecavetubing.com now. Not sure, but I've seen good reviews on X-stream and Coral Breeze. We had large truck innertubes, lifevest, and headlights. Didn't see any critters.

But do you think mean critters were lurking there- in the dark? :D

Ok - with all these other companies - Did they all link you together? We are going in August - so I hear water levels WILL be low ---- I LIKE the linking idea.
