nassau excursion

We will be in Nassau Nov.1 for the day on the Destiny. third time in Nassau-not touristy type people but love mingling with the locals. by reading a little of this board, I get the opinion that SCUBAGIRL is very knowledgeable. We do love the water, snorkeling, hanging out but can't stand ship organized tours. any suggestions for what we should do?

any suggestions of which beach is the best? Been to Atlantis, straw market, town tour, so no desire to do those again. A beach, bar, and snorkeling would be great!
