Shore Excursions in Lifou

Hi, can anyone tell me if there are any tours or excursions done by the locals in Lifou and where they go to or can you just get a local to take you around like you can in Vila. I was interested in doing the Forest- Secret Grotto can this be done independent of the ship. Thanks Robin:)

The locals sell a bus tour for around $15 AU at a little stand behind the tent with the stalls in it. I didn't go on it but I think it was a sightseeing tour & also went to the village that was too far to walk to.

Did'nt make it up the hill at Dravuni either ,:eek:but will definatly going to try and get up to see the church. Counting the days see you both soon. Rob :)
